Suds2Go Portable Handwasher Update | Shark Tank Season 12

Keeping hands clean while out and about isn’t always easy. Hand sanitizers can sting, wipes dry out quickly, and public restrooms aren’t always ideal.

Husband and wife duo Cindy and Gabe Trevizo developed a portable handwashing device to tackle this issue.

Their invention, Suds2Go, went to Shark Tank in Season 12. But did they land a deal? Let’s find out in this update!

What Happened to Suds2Go on Shark Tank?

Suds2Go entered Shark Tank seeking $200,000 in exchange for 10% equity.

The product, designed to make handwashing more convenient, features a refillable container with foam soap and a small amount of water—perfect for washing hands without access to running water.

A smaller, budget-friendly cap version also attaches to disposable water bottles.

Before pitching on Shark Tank, the couple launched a Kickstarter campaign in 2018, which helped them get the business off the ground.

The product gained traction quickly, with Suds2Go generating $392,000 in sales within a few months of launching online.

However, as demand grew, the couple faced challenges with distribution and logistics.

Here’s how the sharks responded to their pitch:

Robert Herjavec$200,000 for 15%Accepted
Daymond John$200,000 for 22.5%Declined
Mark CubanNo Offer
Lori GreinerNo Offer
Kevin O’LearyNo Offer

Initially, Kevin O’Leary opted out due to a conflict of interest—he had already invested in Blueland, a company in the same space.

Mark Cuban also passed, citing market competition. Robert Herjavec initially stepped away for similar reasons, but Daymond John offered $200,000 for 22.5% equity.

Lori Greiner decided not to make an offer, believing Daymond’s deal was fair. However, Robert reconsidered and presented a counteroffer of $200,000 for 15%.

Since Cindy and Gabe wanted to retain as much ownership as possible, they accepted Robert’s offer.

Since appearing on Shark Tank, Suds2Go has continued to thrive. Demand for the product remains strong, and the company has expanded its product line.

The brand has also received media coverage in Better Homes and Gardens publications.

Suds2Go products are available on their official website and Amazon, offering various options and accessories.

Beyond business success, the company is also making a difference. Suds2Go donates a cap to organizations supporting children facing food insecurity and displacement for every bottle sold.

Cindy and Gabe’s commitment to giving back is a reflection of their own past struggles, making their success even more meaningful.

Suds2Go is still growing, and if more updates emerge, we’ll be sure to share them!
